What Are The Chances Of Hepatitis B Progressing Into Chronic Liver Damage?
Relaxation techniques
Detailed Answer:
Hello Mr XXXX,
How are you?
I did go through all the discussions you have had with the doctors on HCM. I am so sorry that you are having all these symptoms. I understand that your hepatitis B has resolved completely with a negative viral count and a negative e antigen. This is very good news for you and your chances of progressing to chronic liver damage is negligible.
I do understand you are currently suffering from abdominal pain and occasional chest pain. I have also noticed your discussions with the other doctors and they have prescribed the correct treatment for the same. You have confessed to your job being very stressful. Stress in itself can manifest as body aches and pains, especially resistant to common lines of treatment. It is my personal opinion that you will benefit from relaxation techniques. Go out for a pleasant walk early in the morning. Learn to do some yoga and breathing exercises. Follow a hobby. This has helped a lot of my patients who suffer from anxiety, especially those who suffer from chronic diseases. If none of this helps, I would advise you to consult a psychiatrist who can prescribe some relaxants to help you avoid stress.
I hope this helps and and I hope you start to feel better. Please do not hesitate to contact me for further clarifications.
