A single impact on the head will not make you stupider. However, if you have suffered a concussion injury to your brain then rarely, there is possibility of having a clouding of memory and mild behavioral changes. This clouding of memory might make you forget things for some time duration.

Concussion injury does not happen to every man punched on the head. The punch must be hard enough to cause this. Concussion is the mildest form of brain trauma. The forgetfulness happens rarely and is usually for a few days.
