Brief Answer: Increased risk of cardiovascular disease.Low Vit D Detailed Answer: Hello, Thanks for your query. I have gone through your query and reports. I have noted the following findings 1. Low Apolipoprotein A1. As a major component of the high-density lipoprotein complex (protective "fat removal" particles), apoliporotein A-I helps to clear fats, including cholesterol, from white blood cells within artery walls, making the WBCs less likely to become fat overloaded, transform into foam cells, die and contribute to progressive atheroma. This atheroma is a major risk for future for heart disease and other vascular diseases. Thus low Apoprotien A level is a major risk for cardiovascular diseases. 2. High levels of high-sensitivity CRP test (hs-CRP). It indicates the same risk as i mentioned above for Apoliporeotein A. Increased chance of having a sudden heart problem, such as a heart attack. Inflammation can damage the inner lining of the arteries and make having a heart attack more likely. 3. High level of Lipoprotein (LPA). This also indicates the Increased risk of Cardiovascular disease 4. Insufficient 25-OH VITAMIN D (TOTAL) Low Vitamin D level may be due to Lack of exposure to sunlight and Lack of enough vitamin D in the diet. This also increase the cardiovascular risk. All other parameters are with in normal limits. She have high risk for future cardiovascular diseases and insufficient vitamin D. Please follow the following measures to prevent heart disease. 1. Exercise regulary atleast 40 minutes per day for 5 days a week 2. Avoid oily and deep fried foods 3. Take diet is rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains and low-fat dairy products. 4. Measure her BMI and maintain below 23.5 5. She must consume vitamin D rich foods 6. She must have exposure to sunlight Hope this helps. Please write back for further queries. Wishing you good health.

Thanks for your valuable suggestion and in-depth analysis... Few questions: 1. She is currently taking Becadexamin (Multi-Vitamin) capsules daily for the past 10 days. Is this sufficient to make up daily dosage of multi-vitamins? Is it ok to continue taking it daily for a long period of time (more than an year)? 2. Any other specific vitamin supplements to be taken (Vitamin E/ B-complex)? 3. What type of exercises are recommended for her? Thanks, XXXX

Brief Answer: Becadexamin is enough. Jogging, Walking, Bicycling Detailed Answer: Hello, Becadexamin is a good vitamin supplement and it is enough for her. No other vitamin is needed. Aerobic exercise has the most benefits for heart. She can do some stretching exercises in addition to aerobic exercises. Aerobic exercises include walking, jogging, jumping rope, bicycling, skiing, skating, rowing etc.. While performing these exercises, maintain good posture. Keep back straight; do not curve or slump back. Make sure movements are controlled and slow. Avoid quick, jerking movements. Do not bounce. Do not hold breath during these exercises. Hope this helps. Please write back for further queries. Wishing you good health.
