Question: I am taking cremaffine plus since 6 months 1 table spoon . What is the side effects if we take for a long time ?

I appreciate your concern for the safety of Cremaffin Plus (Liquid paraffin,Magnesium hydroxide & Sodium picosulfate) on prolonged use.
Cremaffin plus is a laxative used for symptomatic relief of constipation.

First and foremost it is habit forming laxative.
Other side effects include soiling of the undergarments due to its leakage from the anus, deficiencies of fat soluble vitamins A, D, E, & K ( as it interferes with their absorption from the intestines), abdominal pain due to enlarged lymph nodes, it may also cause aspiration pneumonia.

I would advise you to consult a doctor to find out the exact cause of constipation and get treated accordingly.
