The dose you mentioned is definitely high and that too not to be taken by mouth.
But there won't be much harm as it wouldn't cause any danger except stomach pain or vomiting. Even that will settle if you continue feeding your child as before.
In case if he cries inconsolably then you need to take him to your nearby pediatrician.
Otherwise no need to worry.
Be careful with medicines, always read the pamphlet before administration.
