What Are The Repercussions Of Missing A Dose Of Klonopin?
Question: Hello, my name is XXX XXXXXXX and I take 15 mg of abilify in the morning, and 1 mg of klonopin three times a day. The last time I ate nuts with klonopin, I had a reaction because of the magnesium in the nuts. Today I ate some peanuts again which has 4 times as much magnesium as the previous nuts. So is it okay for me to miss my nighttime dose of klonopin? Because I read on google that klonopin in combination with magnesium can cause seizures, but I also read that klonopin withdrawal can cause seizures. So what do you think I should do? Is it okay for me to miss one dose of klonopin and will it result in any dangerous withdrawal effects just from missing one dose like seizures?
Do you recommend taking half of the klonopin?
I looked it up on google. the nuts I ate today actually had less magnesium than the nuts I ate before. Do you suggest taking the klonopin or half or do you suggest missing a dose?

Brief Answer:
You can take half dose
Detailed Answer:
Hello, thanks for asking from HealthcareMagic.
I can understand your concern.
No need to miss a dose. You can take half of dose and this will not cause any issues. Missing a dose will worsen insomnia and the psychotic symptoms. Taking the half of the dose would help in sleep and no need to worry.
Even if you take Klonopin after taking nuts that would not precipitate seizures. No need to worry for that.
Thanks.
Take care.
