Question: Hi Dr. this morning my son 3.8 years he took overdose of combiflam suspension in empty stomach is there any chances of side effects?
He was having viral fever from last 2 days. but this morning he was ok and he took overdose.

he has taken more than 14 ml of combiflam.

As long as he has no symptoms like vomiting, abdominal pain, or bleeding there is nothing to worry.
Combiflam suspension contains 100 mg of Ibuprofen & 162.5 mg of Paracetamol/ 5 mL. & the usual recommended dosage is 5 mL 3 times daily.
Since he has take a larger dose of combiflam, he should be observed for the signs of toxicity like vomiting, abdominal pain or bleeding. If he develops these symptoms he should be evaluated by a child specialist for further management in the hospital.
