What Are The Repercussions Of Taking Additional Dosage Of Lisinopril And Thiazide?

Question: I took my BP meds (lisinopril-10mg, hydrochlorothiazide-25mg) at 1:00pm.

I normally take a baby aspirin around 9:00pm but, not thinking, I opened my pill-box and blithely took another round of lisinopril and thiazide at 9:00pm instead (so, about 8hours apart).

Is there cause for concern? When I go to sleep will my BP become dangerously low? (it's normally around 120/79 under control).

See Lisinopril and hydrochlorothiazide are mild anti hypertensive drugs. Taking an extra dose of them will lower your Blood pressure further but definitely not to dangerous levels.

Just drink an extra litre of water and go to bed . Nothing extra needs to be done .

Also continue taking your blood pressure medications as usual from Tomorrow.
