what are the chances it will hurt me. I'm a waitress with no insurance. Will it pass more than likely or what are the chances it will hurt me. what is cremaffin? I'm pretty scared. it just happened an hour and a half ago and I don't feel any pain as of right now. please help. thank you so very much.
Brief Answer:
swallowed plastic fork and noproblem yet.
Detailed Answer:
Madam. Chances of injury cannot be totally ruled out but the advantage is 'it is not metal'; so chances of injury are less.
Cremaffin is liquid paraffin a laxative, makes stool softer. Thus it can make stools slippery so facilitate easy evacuation. It is good that you don't feel pain; but caution is required until the object is excreted out. Monitoring by x ray has been advised.
With best of my knowledge I think this object will come out without causing injury. But in case you develop symptoms of pain, difficulty to pass stool or abdominal bloating, it will need immediate medical attention. But as i said, it is not likely to be required.
Hope for best every thing will end in well. Do not be scared. If possible visit your local GP / gastroenterologist for monitoring.

With all probability it will pass off.
Detailed Answer:
With all probability it will pass off. I have already advised for ultrasound. Only alternative is surgery which is not likely.
