Question : I had a seizure 2 weeks ago, and went to the Hospital. The doctor in ER said that one of my meds has a side effect of seizures. Have you heard of Detrol LA having that side effect? It was a horrible experience for me and my whole family.

I have read your question and understand your concerns.

Convulsions ( or seizures ) are reported, among others, but rarely, in people who used Detrol LA.

However, it is necessary to get brain imaging studies done, (MRI) in order to evaluate/exclude other possible causes of seizures ( stroke, brain masses, vascular malformations ) before to say that Detrol LA was the cause of the seizures.
