What Are The Side Effects Of Ibuprofen?

Question: I have been suffering from really bad IBS for years so I took probiotics called Pearls IC for the first time (3 pills for 3 days) then stopped after getting bad stomach aches and nausea, been over 2 days since and I still have the same symptoms, can't sleep at all for the last 3 days (8 hours total), For the last three days all I have been eating are boiled Zuchinni and potatoes and taking advil cold for my cold, nothing else, haven't gone to bathroom since I stopped.
What should I do ?

Hi,
I have gone through your medical history and lab reports carefully and understood your concerns.

1. Your lab reports are fine, nothing worrisome found.

2. With regards to your actual symptoms, there are 2 main factors triggering/aggravating them including :
- the probiotic you have used (Pearls IC) has as side effects "upset stomach"
- taking advil cold as it contains ibuprofen that also can cause gastritis or stomach upset.

So, to my opinion, you should stop taking probiotics and advil as soon as possible.
Start using antacids and omeprazole to ease the pain.
