Brief Answer:
Invega sustena injection is good

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for choosing health care magic for posting your query.
I have gone through your question in detail and I can understand what you are going through.
Invega sustena injection (paliperidone) is a good option for patients with schizophrenia who are not willing to take drugs or who fail to keep proper compliance with the medicines. It needs to be given at least monthly to keep its effect going. Oral medicines should be discontinued while the patient is on invega as otherwise it may lead to over medication. It may not work too well for depression but is effective for schizophrenia.
Regarding the treatment of psoriasis, there are no OTC options available. You may use calamine lotion or moisturizers if any of the lesions if troubling or irritating.

Hope I am able to answer your concerns.
If you have any further query, I would be glad to help you.

What about the nbr of side effects of injection. Weakness, confusion, pains and aches, fatigue, forgetting etc and many more. Also it is no cost effective. Very expensive.

Brief Answer:
Not needed as such

Detailed Answer:
Hello
If you are on regular oral medicines, then you dont need an injection as such. Moreover if its causing side-effect then it better be withdrawn. You may discuss this issue with your psychiatrist, If he is still bent on continuing you on palliperidone, then the same can be given orally as well. Provided you take medicines regularly...
Kind regards
Dr. Srikanth Reddy MD
