What Are The Side Effects Of Endep Amitriptyline?

Question: what is the side affect of the tablets called endep amitriptyline 10 mg
Hi,
Thank you for posting your query.
Endep (Amitriptyline) is a safe drug, when taken at a dose of 10 mg.
Common side effects seen are drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth, constipation, weight gain, blurring of vision and retention of urine.
Rarely, cardiac side effects may occur including change in heart rate and high or low BP.
However, my patients rarely report any of the above side effects.
I hope it helps.
Best wishes,
