Just mild memory problems and difficulties in finding words, doesn't mean that you are suffering from dementia.

The hallmark feature of dementias is cognitive impairment.

However, there are conditions such mild cognitive impairment that may precede dementia that need to be taken into account since you started noticing memory issues.

I think neuropsychological tests and brain imaging such MRI can be done in order to understand better your condition.
