There are many symptoms of colon cancer.

Change in your bowel habits with constipation and / or diarrhea starts the list.
Change in consistency of stool, blood in stool, abdominal pain or discomfort,
Unexplained weight loss etc are the main symptoms of colon cancer.

Blood in your stool is particularly confusing as sometimes it's caused by other minor issues, like constipation. If it persists and / or if any other symptoms start up, then you should get a Colonoscopy done as soon as possible.
