I have been seeing the same DR/psychiatrist for over 10 years & believe he is to willing to hand out these kind of meds because i have been on them for that long & feel they are starting to destroy my life. I was not educated back then/ right frame of mind due to situation on how bad they are. Do i need to go to a Rehab for withdrawal from them ?

You have been taking benzos for more than 10 years.
This is a long period and sufficient to cause dependence.
Your treating doctor should have informed you about the risksof long-term use of benzos.

It would be the safe idea for you to undergo detox treatment at a rehab centre.
A doctor's supervision is must while undergoing withdrawal from benzos.

Abrupt quitting can cause headache, insomnia, irritability, gastric upset, mood swings and seizures in some cases.
