Brief Answer:
This would not result in withdrawal symptoms

Detailed Answer:
Hello thanks for asking from HCM for your health related queries

Promazine is an antipsychotic drug and abrupt stoppage of the drug after prolonged intake may result in withdrawal symptoms. But you have been taking the drug since last 10 days only and this would not result in any withdrawal symptoms. Though mild insomnia may be observed but other withdrawal symptoms would not be seen.

You have already reduced the morning doses and I don't think that you would see withdrawal after stopping the drug completely. No need to worry. Continue to take your other drugs as per prescription. The anxiety you are having could be due to Citalopram or some other cause but it is not due to withdrawal.

Thanks, Hope this helps you. Please ask again for more doubts. Take care

Brief Answer:
Citalopram may cause feeling of sickness in withdrawal

Detailed Answer:
Hello again

Yes this could occur because of reduction of doses of Citalopram. Citalopram is a SSRI drug and reduction of doses of drug after long term intake may present with such symptoms. I don't think Promazine is causing withdrawal. If symptoms persist then visit your doctor. Medicines like low dose Clonazepam can help to reduce these symptoms of citalopram withdrawal.

Thanks
