What Cause Premature Greying Of Hair In Children?

Question: My son is 13 years old.on and off I see grey hair on his head..it dissapears after med..when he was eight..doc had advised biotin forte.zincovit 5ml twice.aloha twice.syrup..entik hair oil...grd pwrder..after a mnth the hair went away..but now again I can c 2 or 3 hair..so should I start tis same treatments. .and wat power.hav heard malcvit is also good .tis treatment was given when little hair loss was there also

I understand your concerns as regards your son & empathise.
I too have one kid that age & they can be notorious for not following treatments :)
Do not look too closely at him.
Premature greying or Canities are not as rare as once believed & are largely genetically pre-determined albeit environmental factors & stressors play a role.
I am sure if you follow a balanced diet, nutrition will take care of itself.
So am not a big fan of supplements but rather advocate a diet rich in minerals & trace elements based on your dietary preferences...Brocolli steamed is an ideal food for skin, hair & nails & off the top of my head is recommended.
Please do 'google' to suit your specific dietary habits!
There is a gel in the market called 'Altris' gel that will help you..any large pharmacist will stock it...let him apply it twice daily to the afflicted portions. It will surely prevent more white hair from springing up.

Thanks doctor..altris gel for how much time should I apply..and also does tis medicine work..really...and same doses should I give.and entik hair oil for how many mnths..suggeset some mild shampoo also..thanx

You are most welcome.
Altris gel can be applied indefinitely for 6 months & beyond.
I cannot recommend doses for things I consider just temporary nor do shampoos help..any mild shampoo especially Sebamed's shampoo for fragile hair will do nicely & must remember any shampoo is to be used only twice per week.
