What Causes A Black Scar On The Knuckles?

Question: Hi doctor, i have one black scar in main knuckle in middle finger. I think mainly due to masturbation, it came. Any remedy for this.

Apply steroid salicylic acid cream on the affected area

Detailed Answer:
I have reviewed the attached photograph and can appreciate a thickened dark skin on the knucke.
If I was your treating doctor I would recommend you to apply a steroid salicylic acid combination like halobetasol and salicylic acid combination on the affected area twice daily for 2-3 weeks along with application of a moisturising cream like xerina cream on the entire hand twice daily.
This should reduce it.
