Started Triple Therapy and completed but still have the left side of the throat and left sinus feels compacted as well. Lungs are clear sinus are clear. Went to my GP and he put me on an antiviral. After 4 days nothing changed. Called the GP he started me on a I Levfloxacin 750MG. Brief Answer:
Need a follow-up with Gastro-enterologist and Consult an Otolaryngologist

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,thank you for posting your query on health care magic.

You suffered from a feeling of tablet stuck in your throat. But you did not suffered difficulty in swallowing. From the symptoms,it seems nothing to worry that something might have damaged permanently.

Looking at your symptoms,it seems that you are feeling a sensation of a lump or foreign body in the throat(Globus sensation).
Common causes are Gastroesophageal reflux disease,Abnormal upper esophageal sphincter function/Cricopharyngeal spasm,Pharyngeal inflammatory causes like pharyngitis, and chronic sinusitis with postnasal drip,Hypertrophy of the tongue base,Retroverted epiglottis, etc.

As you have undergone Esophageal endoscopy and diagnosed with esophagitis, your symptom might be due to Esophagitis. You have already taken treatment for it.I advise you to follow-up with your Gastrologist to check whether the mucosal lining in you esophagus has healed.

You suffered from sinus and throat infection. It may lead to sensation of lump in throat. As your left side of sinus was affected,it may have lead to posterior nasal drip irritating only left side of throat.
Other causes like enlarged base of tongue or retroverted epiglottis may feel foreign body sensation.
It is also advisable to consult an Otolaryngologist to do Sinus and throat examination and a Laryngoscopy to rule out other causes like enlarged base of tongue or retroverted epiglottis.

Cricoparyngeal spasm-
Hyper-contraction of the cricopharyngeus muscle, which causes a constricted or lump-in-the-throat sensation.
Individuals with cricopharyngeal spasm may describe a sensation of something stuck in the throat.
A key indicator of cricopharyngeal spasm is that you can still eat and drink without trouble, and that the troubling sensations described above actually tend to diminish or disappear you are eating. This happens because the cricopharyngeus muscle relaxes during swallowing (as it should), which temporarily relieves the hyper-contraction sensations.
Causes include stress and anxiety. In some cases, eating certain foods may bring on acute spasms, in susceptible individuals. Peanuts, pumpkin seeds and other nuts may trigger these spasms.
Muscle relaxant, stress reduction or botox injection will help in such a case.

You are also suffering from constipation and pale /clay stool. It might happen in a case of liver/pancreas disease. It would be advisable to do few test like liver function test, pancreatic amylase and lipase. This problem also needs to get check up with a Gastrologist.

Hope this answers your question.Get well soon.

Thank you so much. I'm having blood work for my Oncologist next week. Tried to reschedule my Gastrologist follow up March 1 but was told to follow up with GP. He says give this med 4 day if no improvement he would refer an ENT. My symptoms go away eating and drinking so hoping is just my anxiety. You have helped relieve some of that.

Again, Thank you!
