What Causes A High Pulse Rate In The Morning Time?

Question: THe last couple of mornings I have been waking up with my pulse around 100-110. I'm 53 years old, don't have any medical conditions, not taking any medications, vitamins or supplements, slightly obese. I have no other symptoms - no shortness of breath, chest pain, dizziness. I have changed my diet and doing low carb. Could this be low blood sugar?
Brief Answer:
Possibly drops in blood sugar and oscillations in blood pressure...
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I have gone through your medical history carefully and understood your concerns.
Waking up with pulse getting around 100-110 beats/min is indicative for a possible reaction of organism to possibly drops in blood sugar or oscillations in blood pressure levels.
I advise to monitor your:
- bp
- and blood sugar
once you wake up in the morning.
I also advise to :
- have your meals regularly
- do not skip any meal
- avoid foods high in carb in the evening
- increase fluids intake, especially water
Hope it was of help! Let me know if I can be of further help!
