Question : Have a red bump on the center of my right buttock. It doesn't itch, but is slightly uncomfortable when I sit down, nothing too unbearable. I noticed it yesterday, and it arms to have gotten slightly more inflamed. Not sure what it could be.

I would suggest that you should get yourself clinically examined by a surgeon and get it drained under aseptic conditions.

Is it possible that it's a pimple or insect bite of some sort? The only reason I ask is because it's not hard to the touch, but a little pain if I press the center of it.

Your symptoms seems more towards an abscess. Insect bite will be accompanied by itching. Pain from pimple will be of less severity and the inflammation will not increase like you have mentioned.
