Brief Answer:
I'm missing some information here

Detailed Answer:
You do not say whether or not this is a painful bump. And by large I'm not sure if that's the size of a point of the fittest are cantaloupe.
one of the most common painful bumps isn't infected Bartholin's cyst. It usually arises to the side of the vagina and you can see the end of the labia go across it. This is further back perhaps it represents some type of hernia.
I suggest you get into see your doctor and have him or her take a look.

Brief Answer:
I don't think so.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I do not think it is an STD. Rather it some kind of skin infection fistula, fissure or boil that kind of thing. An infected hair follicle is possible also. I can't think of an STD that would be that large.

Answered by Dr. Cori Baill (19 hours later)
Brief Answer:
The fact that you had a fever concerns me.

Detailed Answer:
I would not be surprised if this is some type of infected fistula or fissure that has arisen from the bowel. It doesn't mean you did anything incorrectly; these just occur sometimes. They can get quite bad. I really recommend that you go to the doctor. I'm sorry if this is not the advice that you wanted but I am concerned especially if you have systemic symptoms.
