What Causes Abdominal Pain After An Erection?

Question: My husband has just recently started having pain in his abdomen whenever he has an erection. Around the same time he found a spot in his upper abdomen that was indented. What could be the cause and are the two things connected. He is distraught about this. He has no known medical issues aside from terrible acid reflux.
