What Causes Abdominal Pain While Suffering From Anemia? Vvv

Question: Severe stomach pains , diarrhea, bloating worse after eating went to My dr and he said I was anemic and wants to do endoscope but right now I am about a 9 on scale of 10. I ate potato so my stomach was not empty thinking I have peptic ulcer but I am miserable sometimes it goes away should I wait it out going on about a week@

Since you are anemic and also having abdominal pain, I would advise early endoscopy.
Though peptic ulcer is a possible cause, taking your age in to consideration, malignancy should also be ruled out. So early endoscopy is a prudent thing to do.

As part of anemia work up, in addition to upper GI endoscopy, a peripheral blood smear test and Fecal occult blood test should also be done.
