Brief Answer:
Get Ultrasound done. Take anti spasmodics.
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX Your spasms could be due to intestinal bloating or due to kidney. You should see your Doctor who can prescribe anti spasmodics and help you get an Ultrasound of Abdomen and Pelvis done to rule out any other problems. Both the issues can be managed with anti spasmodics. However you should have those medicines only when necessary and should take it sparingly. Also ensure that you dont get constipation. If there is then take laxatives like Senna or Isabgol husk to relieve constipation. Do let me know if the report shows any abnormality. Take care and dont worry. It should be alright in a few days.

I had x-rays taken of my abdominal area as well as my pelvic region and found nothing no abnormalities
Brief Answer:
Get Ultrasound done
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX Xrays will pick up only stones and bony abnormalities. They can help in diagnosing intestinal obstruction also. But you need to get an Ultrasound which can see the kidneys and thickening if any in the intestine. It can also pick up any fluid collection or lymph nodal swelling. Therefore it would be the investigation you should undergo. Take care.
