What Causes Ambiguous Genitalia?

Question: Good day doctor!
My daughter is 12. In the past, there is a growing skin or bodypart on her clitoris. This is quite visible even with so much hair around the area. She's had her 1st periode (even 2nd one recently).
What can this be and what can be the cause of it? I'm worried!

Hi...by what you quote I feel that your daughter might be having ambiguous genitalia. It may happen due to hormonal disturbance in the adrenal glands.

I have few questions for you -

1. Does she have abnormal black discoloration of the genital region or arm pits>
2. Does she have excessive thirst or excessive urination?
3. How is her attaining of developmental mile stones?
4. How is her growth - I mean I need her exact date of birth and current exact height and weight?
5. Does she have any menstruation problems?

3. Normal - proportionate
4. Born in sept. 2003; 43.8kg; og 164cm
5. NO, Just irregular. 1st period lasted 3-4days, and 2nd period lasted ca. 1 week.

But my suggestion is that you consult her gynaecologist and everything is fine by her/him, please go ahead with an endocrinologist consult.

Thanks once again! I'll surely follow up with medical examinations.

Forgot to inform in my last respons that she has since her last and second period complained about stomach/abdominal pain (almost through the entire period. And now again. So, every now and then, the pain comes, lasts for about 15min, and comes back after a while.

Could it have to do with this?
