Question : My urine smells funny and I have a slight ache but no burning in my bladder area. It has been going on for about a week and a half.

Due to bacteria presence in the urine, you can have lower abdominal pain. Every person has different symptoms, so burning is not always present. You may also notice frequent urinating or some trace of blood in the urine. I suggest you to do not wait any longer. Please visit your doctor and have urine analysis done.
