default
Posted on Sat, 11 Nov 2017
Question: Three years ago I had a spinal fusion and Laminectomy! Was a long recover. After the surgery I stated to feel achy during the night and after a while it became on and off, Sine days were good and others aches!

After all this time I am still having this problem. I am able to function with the aid of two or three tramadol a day with Tylenol! I go to a pain management doctor and never abuse the Tramadoll! My number for reference is xxx0000! Thank you!

Brief Answer:
Pregabalin or duloxetine would be good options.

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for posting your query.

I am Dr Sudhir Kumar, Neurologist, and I would try my best to help you.

I have noted your clinical details. Based on this, you seem to be having neuropathic pain. I know nerve-related pain can be severe and disabling at times. For better relief from this, pregabalin or duloxetine capsules can be tried.

I hope my answer helps. Please get back if you have any follow up queries or if you require any additional information.

Wishing you good health,
