What Causes Back Pain?
Need some information from you first sir
Detailed Answer:
Hello sir and welcome.
Thank you for writing to us.
I have gone through your query with diligence and would like you to know that I am here to help. Back tiredness, more than pain is usually either a sign of weakness or of strenuous physical activity resulting in physical stress.
-Does your job involve movement of items, standing for long durations, sitting for long durations, lifting of heavy objects, etc?
-Are you getting sufficient exposure to the sun?
-Have you checked your serum calcium and serum vitamin D levels?
-Have you suffered any injuries to the back to pelvis region either directly or indirectly?
-Have you checked your vitamin levels?
-Do you suffer from anaemia?
-Are you under a lot of stress at work or at home?
These are some of the most common causes of back tiredness, weakness, stress, etc. I would appreciate it if you could write back to me with a response to my above questions sir. I look forward to helping you further, in order to find the cause for your presentation and adequately addressing it to sufficiently provide you with relief.
Best wishes.
Your problem is simple, result can be serious
Detailed Answer:
Hello once again XXXXXXX
Sitting for long durations can be very very harmful to the human body. Have you heard of the fact 'a horse that can't run is dead already'? Well the explanation to that is that a horse purely survives due to its muscles. Its entire body depends entirely on its muscle power. When a horse is injured and cannot continue to run anymore (no exercise), it soon dies.
It is the same with us humans as well; although our muscles have adapted much more, they still crave and seek exercise as much as possible. Without exercise (which is what our state is with ing hours of sitting), our muscles start to degenerate, our reflexes start to reduce, this increases the chances of chronic pain and starts a chain reaction of events that can eventually result in death due to extremely poor health.
In practice nowadays, we see young males aged 24-30 years reporting with myocardial infarctions (heart attacks), and once their history is taken; they all have one thing in common: long durations of being seated and high levels of stress at work.
The simple solution is regular exercise, I would recommend some form of exercise like jogging, walking, cycling, swimming on a daily basis. Also, although you are extremely busy, to get off your chair every 15-20 minutes and either walk, spot-job, stretch, do push-ups or sit-ups, or any other form of exercise. You will surely notice less fatigue and a more healthy spine over time.
I will not prescribe or suggest medications, physiotherapy or any other form of treatment. Just a simple walk every day, along with exercise breaks every 15-20 minutes at work and you will soon feel much better, trust me sir.
I hope you find my response both helpful and informative. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications, I would be more than happy to help you.
Best wishes.
