What Causes Bed Wetting After Knee Replacement Surgery?

default
Posted on Mon, 28 Sep 2015
Question: After a recent surgery to replace a knee joinf I am experiencing severe bladder trouble during night time sleep resulting in unconscious expulsions of urine some quite heavy, . Need to wear absorbent underpants and change them two or three times after each disturbance. Is there any chance this is related to the epidural injection to anethetise me for the surgery? This occurred on August 15th? Have had these problems every night since hospital discharge. Had a catheter inserted for the two days after the operation. Naturally this is causing me considerable distress. Will consult my doctor to see if he can get more information from the hospital surgeon.
