What Causes Black Spots On Penis Head?
Question: I have tiny black spots that have appeared around the tip of my penis; they are slightly raised, do not itch or hurt at all. I know my girlfriend has HPV so I'm assuming I do as well, though these don't look like HPV warts. My GP didn't seem overly concerned but hee recommended I see a dermatologist. I would like to know if they are warts or not and if are they anything I need to get treated or be worried about? How serious is it, does it go away on it's own? If it needs to be treeaed, what is the recommended treatment?
Brief Answer:
Appears to be a hemangioma.Consult a Dermatologist
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
Thanks for posting your query.
I saw the picture sent by you. It does not fit with genital warts by appearance. Possibility of a hemangioma (color and appearance) is there. A careful examination by close inspection and palpation only a more conclusive opinion can be given. Anyhow it would not be harmful anyway either to you or your sex partner.Treatment is possible with Cryo surgery and laser. As your GP suggested it is better for you to consult a Dermatologist.
