What Causes Blackening Of Toe After A Sprain In My Ankle?

It can be a warning sign
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have studied your case and I think that blackening of toe is a warning sign. It can be due to blood coming out in the skin. Even if your Diabetes is under control then also sometime there is vascular problems. It is known as Microangiopathy. We can not take this lightly. Diabetic patient may loose his toe. I would suggest you to do following.
1.Meet your physcian and show your foot to him.
2.If there is darkening but sensation of toe is intact than you can wait and watch, it will improve in a week.
3.Do not wear tight shoes, and also keep foot dry.
I hope this answer will be useful for you.Let me know if there is any other followup questions.
Thanks
