What Causes Bleeing After Taking I Pill?
Question: Hi. I had my last menses on 21/10/2014. There was a condom break and so took i-pill. Started mild bleeding on 6/11/2014 which continued 2 days. Unfortunately again there was a condom break and I had to take i-pill on 9/11/204. After that I started bleeding mildly on 18/11/2014 which was very mild and continued 3 days. Was this my period or withdrawl bleeding? Can I be pregnant? Do I need a UPT? My regular cycle is 28-30 days. Please help.
Brief Answer:
It is unpredictable at this stage
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing..
I understand your concern..
It is not possible to tell whether it is withdrawal bleeding or normal periods.. Pregnancy chance is less..But if you have doubt, you can get a UPT..
You are likely to get spotting through out this month due to intake of two tablets.. No need to worry.. It would be better to take an alternate contraceptive measure than repeated use of i pill..
Hope i have answered your query.. Feel free to ask any doubts.. good day..

I also have slight abdominal pain moving to my back and thighs last 2 days. What would be the reason?
Brief Answer:
It could be dysmennorrhoea
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing..
It could be due to dymennorrhoea.. This is the pain associated with periods located to lower abdomen radiating to back and thigh.. You can take mefenemic acid for pain relief..this is a prescribed medication.
