default
Posted on Mon, 14 Dec 2015
Question: I have never been diagnosed with herpes 2.

The last few days after sex with a new partner i developed a blister on the head of my penis.

It has not become an open sore and its been there for 3 days. Its not painful and not itchy unless i irritate it.

when you look at the picture. it sits right at the hole to the left.

I want to know what it is. and how to treat.

Brief Answer:
doesnt look like herpes

Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome to the HCM.

As I can see from these photos it doesnt look typically like herpes especially if this is not painful and more likely it would be allergic reaction or penis irritation.
But of course, STD cant be rule dout for 100%. I suggets to apply mild topical steroid cream such as nistatine and sustain from sexual intercourse in 1 week.
If there is no improvement, you should do std testing, but at this point I dont think there is need for concern. WIsh you good health. Regards
