I also experience bloating, tightness in chest, a German shepherd sitting on me, and shortness of breath. I had a full pulmonary test last year which gave me an inhaler for exercise induced asthma. however this shortness of breath is happening with no exertion. these symptoms are being experienced more and more frequently.

Hello dear
Welcome back and thanks for follow up.
I understand your concern
Bloating and tightness of chest is due to drinking of beer.
Beer release the lots of carbon dioxide that lead to bloating and tightness in chest.
Take Simethicone: an oral anti-foaming agent that helps the body to expel the gas.
Continue antacid for next 3-4 days.
Drink in moderate amount and do regular exercise like walking.
Shortness of breath could be due to pre-existing asthma.
Take your inhaler to relieve it and anti-histamine tablet
I would suggest to repeat your pulmonary function test to know the progress of pulmonary problem.
If tightness of chest will occurs only after the alcohol drinking, then I would suggest to go for ECG and chest-X ray to rule out the cardiac pathology.
Hope I have answered your question.
