Brief Answer:
Does not seem to be related to heart problem or heart attack.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
welcome to health care magic,

Feeling boated in stomach or belching or tightness or hard tender stomach could be related to acute gastritis or gastric ulcer but it needs further evaluation by clinical examination and various tests to have confirmed diagnosis.

It does not seem to be related to heart attack or any other heart problem here like you said there is no radiating pain over jaw, arms or left shoulder.

So you do not need to worry and be rested.

Although pain from heart has a classical description. On very few occasions we have atypical presentations where the pain is referred to left side neck, jaw, left arm, left shoulder or over left upper back and some times gas trouble or stomach pain or epigastric pain.

Therefore though it is unlikely that this pain could be from the heart, it is always advisable to rule out heart ischemic pain from tests.

Hence I encourage you to see a doctor who after physical check up can order for ECG to rule out heart ischemia or heart attack.

If you have any query or doubt then feel free to ask me.

Regards,

Brief Answer:
Antacids would be effective.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for the follow-up.

You can take some medications and dietary precautions to get relieved from this pain.

1) Proton pump inhibitors (pantoprazole 40 or rabeprazole 20)
2) H2 blockers like Rantac150
3) Syrup digene 2 TSF three times a day
4) Avoid hot, oily and spicy foods rather take bland diet for initial few days
5) Avoid eating full stomach one at a time rather take small and frequent meals.

All the medications are available over the counter and if not then you should consult your family physician or some local doctor who will know about the drugs and can prescribe you.

Hope you will be alright after that.
