What Causes Blocked And Stuffy Ears Along With Ringing Sensation?
Cervical disc related problems or Eustachian tube related issues...
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for posting the query. I do understand your concern; I will try my best to help you with this problem.
Yes, cervical spondylosis or disc related problems can cause ear discomfort and tinnitus. Slip disc reduces the function of the vertebral arteries. As a result of this process the intracranial blood-supply suffers trouble in different levels (in one or in both sides). In consequence of these alterations, insufficiency of vertebro-basilar circulation and its aftermath can form dizziness, tinnitus in ears and head-noises.
Also, the similar symptoms can be encountered with Eustachian tube (the tube connecting nose and the ear) block. Eustachian tube block is usually secondary to common cold or flu or sinusitis.
Hence, it would be better to consult the doctor for a thorough evaluation of the ear, nose and the neck.
Hope I have answered your query; I will be available for the follow-up queries.
