What Causes Blood In Stool?
Question: Two week back i noticed blood along with stool, since at that time i was taking betroot salad along with lunch/dinner i thought its probably due to that.
Today i again noticed blood in stool and this time it was noticeable.
I am currently under medication for Fatty liver (Udiliv 600 mg twice a day, Antoxid once a day, Liv 52 2 tablet per day and SevenSeas 1 capsule twice a day)
Please let me know what test I need to get done to diagnose this problem and whether i need to stop any existing medication and how to proceed further
Also, two week back i only noticed blood on side of the some st0oll not all of them, but today it apart from blood on sides of some stool i notices somewhat bright red blood in watery form also on the toilet bowl. Hope this helps

Brief Answer:
Looks like Piles.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for the query.
I understand your concern that you are suffering bright red blood in stools. The most common cause of right blood in stools would be piles or hemorrhoids. It is commonly seen due to constipation.
I would advise you to see a General surgeon who will examine through proctoscope to see the site of bleeding and will treat you accordingly.
The treatment depends from stool softeners to surgery. Till then please consume high fibre diet and plenty of water.
Hope this answers your query. If any further clarifications, will be happy to help you.
Regards.
