What Causes Blood In Stool?
Probably hemorrhoids but you need to be examined by a gastroenterologist!
Detailed Answer:
HI and thanks for contacting healthcare magic for advice.
I have reviewed your information fully and have the following comments to make:
1. Blood in stool always needs to be evaluated. We need to be sure of the exact cause and handle appropriately. At 55years, i expect you must have benefitted from a screening colonoscopy yet. If you haven’t, please kindly follow up with your primary care for this to be planned and done. This will also serve as the perfect way to evaluate for the blood in stool and the pain you do complain of.
2. With several bowel movements in a day, this is a perfect risk factor for stool leakage. If we fail to get the stools solid again, this might always occur. I will suggest you take loperamide to help reduce the frequency because am sure this diarrhea is not caused by an infection. With diarrhea, always drink much water to replace any fluid losses.
3. Could be hemorrhoids but would suggest that you follow up with 1 above for comprehensive evaluation.
I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to follow up with me on this. Am always available to address your health concerns.
I will be on the look out!
