Brief Answer:
It is normal to have blood in urine for few weeks after TURP .

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for your query, based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have undergone surgery of TURP for enlarged prostate one month back and getting blood in urine .

It is normal to have blood in urine (Hematuria) three weeks after TURP .

During TURP Urologist resects enlarged prostate which causes raw area at the site of resection crating a fossa .This raw area ( Fossa) is covered by a scab as a part of healing prcess which normally takes 3-4 weeks for healing . .This scab starts getting separated after three weeks from the fossa which causes slight oozing of blood from the fossa which stops spontaneously within a week .

Ensure to take antibiotic prescribed by your Urologist and drink more water as a routine

As regards frequency for urination it will take 3-4 months to get resolved .

There is nothing to be worried about .

Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions ,I shall be happy to help you
Thanks and Regards.
