Hello,
If it is for the first time, it is too high suggestive for Diabetes.
You need to check the HbA1c level ( the mean glucose value of the last 3 months) and start treatment as soon as possible. Your physician will check also for the chronic complications of Diabetes(renal function, the eyes for retinopathy, lipid profile, ECG ect).
If you are taking treatment it should be modified according to HbA1c level.
