What Causes Bloody Red Stool?

Possibly due to Active Colitis
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day
Dear Sir
Going by description of your symptoms of Tenesmus ( having the sensation but inability to pass stools) , XXXXXXX bleeding and less stools suggest the possibility of Active Colitis. Further management will depend on clinical examination and assessment. Consulting General Surgeon or Primary care physician will be helpful.
In the meantime I would suggest you following
1. Ensure good intake of water : 2 to 3 litre a day.
2. High fibre diet
3. Probiotics will be helpful
4. A course of antibiotic like Metronidazole which is usually available as over the counter medication will help relieve the symptoms.
Do get back to Me if you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.
Take care

Metronidazole will be helpful in management
Detailed Answer:
Dear Sir
Antibiotic Like Augmentin may worsen 'colitis due to Ulcerative colitis' because it can further predispose to 'antibiotic induced Colitis'. In all such cases antibiotic like Metronidazole along with Probiotic will be helpful. As there is also active bleeding frequently further clinical assessment by your Physician is advisable.
Take care
