Question: my 8month olds gum has this weird blue colour to is all of a sudden. I just noticed it now, any idea what it could be?

I have read your query and gone through the reports (image) you have attached . Based on what I see it looks like Eruption cyst . See what happened Eruption cyst is bluish swelling that occurs on the soft tissue over an erupting tooth . I understand your concern for your child but there is nothing to be worried so much . For this I would suggest you to observe the swelling for one week as it may rupture on its own and may not need any surgical removal (incision and drainage) . If swelling persists aforementioned then consult pedodontist for clinical examination and treatment .
