What Causes Bluish Discolouration With Throbbing Pain In Groin Area?
Question: purple bruising (?) in area which is an additional symptom just noticed to previously answered question - I am having deep throbbing pain in my left groin area that started suddenly today. Both my lower legs ache and yesterday I noticed (what seemed to be the first time?) the vessels in the front of my legs were enlarged and purple. What would you recommend? Thank you. (I sit most days due to arthritis though I do try to do short walks everyday.)

I did go to Urgent Care after posting my question and the doctor said to take aspirin and see if the leg swells or gets worse in 3 days. If so then go to the ER, if not then she thinks it maybe a pulled muscle.
