What Causes Blurred Vision Despite Wearing Contact Lens?

I wear prescription spectacles, and also wear Contact lenses.
so while the specs are perfect in terms of comfort of vision, but my contact lenses (which i normally wear all thru the day) are not so correct, sometimes at some distances the images are slightly blurred, or not sharp when u suddenly look at someone at distance.
my vision is -5.5 on both eyes with a 180Degree in axis, the doctor had suggested that i go for -5.00 contacts, but those were not sharp, so i shifted to -5.25 power lenses, but still sometimes the same sharpness is missing.
i read in the internet that contact lens power will be less than the prescribed specs power, but should i buy -5.50 lenses next time ? or keep using -5.25 lenses.
please advice.

5.25 contact lens power is right.
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to Health care Magic
I am Dr. Dadapeer K an ophthalmologist and I will be answering your question.
I reviewed your history and the reports attached with the question.
Yes you are right that contact lens power is less than spectacle power as adjustment need to be done for vertex distance.
Hence the prescription you are using 5.25 for 5.5 is right. The corrected contact lens power for your power is 5.12. Hence you can use 5 or 5.25.
The problem of blurred vision can be because of tight fit or corneal edema or corneal dryness.
This is not related to power of the contact lenses.
Hence I advice you to consult your optometrist or ophthalmologist for evaluation of fitting of contact lenses.
Hope this information is helpful to you.
Thank you
