is there a chance that this damage is permanent??

Hello,
Thanks for choosing Healthcaremagic your health partner.
I read your query and understand your concerns.
First of all I like to make it clear that CBD oils have significant concentration of THC and they can be considered straight THC as stated by you. This is because production of CBD oil is not regulated by FDA and you can get any amount of THC despite the contradictory claims by manufacturers.
In regard to your question "is there a chance that this damage is permanent" I like to make it clear that there is no chance of having permanent damage to your brain. In my last 10 years of practice of psychiatry I have treated at least 100 patients with cannabis side effects and most of them got relieved over a period. If I say the duration of effects, the most patients do not have persistence of effects beyond 4 weeks and mostly just 2 weeks.
During this time it is important to have proper stress management. Having regular sleep, avoiding junk foods, plenty of water intake, meditation and exercise helps during the recovery process.
I hope this helps you.
If you have more questions feel free to write back to me.
Thanks and regards
I had the same problems a few months back while I have been rehabbing from concussion and they had seemed to clear up. I am just afraid that these issues will be back to stay after I had them mostly relieved
Yes I had

Hello,
Thanks for reverting back to me.
Visual disturbances although uncommon but found in many patients. I think I have three or four patients who only had visual disturbances following cannabis abuse and all of them had complete recovery. Few of them presented with other symptoms along with visual disturbances and recovered well.
The most important thing here is to prevent further exposure. It is rightly possible that by preventing further exposure you have almost 100 % chance of complete recovery. I understand that here concussion is confounding factor but we can hope same as in other patients.
I hope this helps you further.
If you have any further query, I would be glad to help you.
