Brief Answer:
It is Natural to have general aches and pains with pneumonia.

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX

Thanks for posting your query on HCM.

Your wife has been started on antibiotics just 3 days back. Though she has started showing improvement but it will take time for complete recovery and she will have to take antibiotics for a longer duration. It is natural to have these general symptoms in a case of pneumonia. These will also subside as she recovers from pneumonia. In the meanwhile she can take some pain killers and local heat therapy for her aches and pains. She should take rest and a healthy diet. You may go back to your doctor after 5 to 7 days for review.

Take care.
