Take paracetamol,do general measure pain abdomen
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX, I understand your concern. I am Dr. Arun Tank & I am infectious disease specialist. I am going to answer your concern.
-Flu shot vaccine has some side effects when you get it. The side effects are redness and swelling at the site of shot, fever, chills, malaise, muscle pain. The symptoms are variable in different persons. But such symptoms can be relieved by taking paracetamol and you can replace it with ibuprofen. Paracetamol is sufficient for the flushot.
-It may be possible that previously when you taken the shot the symptoms was not much noteworthy as it is on this time. So you feel a side effect much at this time.
-About abdomen pain: abdomen is the mysterious box of the body, and pain in the abdomen felt at one place but their origin may be some where else. I mean it may be referred pain which you are feeling. Examination and ultrasound of abdomen are done to narrow down the possibilities. If you can tell me the exact location of pain, I will be better able to help.
-I think the pain you are feeling is nonspecific general measures are enough for it to get cured. You can think of high fiber diet, daily exercise that include running, abstain from the food which stick to the intestine and causing a pain like bread. You can also discuss dicyclomine with your treating and can be taken as and when required. This pain has nothing to do with the flu shot.
If you have anything else to ask I will be very happy to answer that. We wish you a best health at healthcare magic.
Thank you,
Dr. Arun Tank
