What Causes Brown Discharge After IVF Procedure?
Question: Hi,
My wife has undergone an IVF procedure. She is in hsr 17day and has been administered Sustain Gel LA, Angiprime powder, Evadeol tabs. esterday night she experienced a brown discharge followed by some tissue and a blood string. Altough it has stopped, wanted to know the seriousness of the situation.Its cause and remedy/precuation to be taken.
We are due blood test on Saturday(Today being Thursday)
Any help appreciated

This can implantation or non threatening bleed.

Hello,
Though it is difficult to say what caused this symptoms,dont panic.
Many early pregnancies present with similar symptoms in first few weeks.
Get tests and ultrasound done.You can get ultrasound done today, that will give you some idea.
Though abortion or failed preganacy is common , but such bleeds can be implantation bleed or just non threatening bleeds.So dont worry.
Bring this to notice of her doctor and get ultrasound done.

Can you post the report here? Also let me know week of pregnancy.
HCG levels are different at different stages of pregnancy.Also the levels are counted per ml , so need report to say if it is positive of pregnancy.
